Zusammenfassung:
The release of Xenon-133 m and Xe-133 from neutron-irradiated single crystals of Cs-halides was measured in function of temperature and neutron dose. This release could be expressed in terms of volume diffusion. The temperature dependence in CsF, CsBr and CsI can be described by the activation energies ≦ 2, 1.45 and 1.14 eV and the frequency factors ≦ 1 × 102, 1 × 102 and 2.0 cm2/sec in the temperature regions 450—600, 260—580 and 200—500°C respectively. Increasing neutron doses decrease diffusion coefficients in CsBr and CsI.
