Zusammenfassung:	<jats:p> The concomitant use of <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H nmr and <jats:sup>13</jats:sup>C nmr spectroscopy as a probe of structure, stereochemistry, and conformation of several nucleoside analogs derived from 1-oxa-4-thiacyclohexane is described. The <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H nmr spectroscopic properties of an acyclic nucleoside analog derived from uridine are also described. </jats:p>
