Zusammenfassung: <jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:p> <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Escherichia coli</jats:named-content> is an important etiologic agent of lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI). Multidrug-resistant <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">E. coli</jats:named-content> EC302/04 was isolated from a tracheal aspirate, and its genome sequence is expected to provide insights into antimicrobial resistance as well as adaptive and virulence mechanisms of <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">E. coli</jats:named-content> involved in LRTI. </jats:p>
