Zusammenfassung: <jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:p> The genome of <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Alteromonas macleodii</jats:named-content> strain ATCC 27126 <jats:sup>T</jats:sup> has been resequenced and closed into a single contig. We describe here the genome of this important and globally distributed marine bacterium. </jats:p>
