Zusammenfassung:	<jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:p> <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Klebsiella pneumoniae</jats:named-content> is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, nonmotile, and opportunistic pathogenic species with clinical importance. It is a part of natural flora of humans and animals. Here we report the draft genome sequence of the type strain of <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Klebsiella pneumoniae</jats:named-content> subsp. <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">pneumoniae</jats:named-content> (DSM 30104 <jats:sup>T</jats:sup> ) to provide taxonomic and functional insights into the species. </jats:p>
