Zusammenfassung: <jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:p> We sequenced the genome of the high-siderophore-yielding strain <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Pseudomonas</jats:named-content> sp. HYS and then analyzed its iron acquisition systems. The 5.6-Mb draft genome sequence has a special pattern of pyoverdine synthesis clusters and contains an <jats:italic>hmuRSTUV</jats:italic> heme uptake cluster, which has a homolog only in some strains of the order <jats:named-content xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" content-type="genus-species" xlink:type="simple">Enterobacteriales</jats:named-content> . </jats:p>
