Zusammenfassung:	<jats:p>A predictive tool has been developed and validated that identifies patients with low‐risk cancer on biopsy who are at risk for upgrading at surgery. This tool could help increase acceptance and safety of active surveillance and lower the number of men overtreated for low‐risk prostate cancer.</jats:p>
